I tried it again recently, and somehow it felt worse than the last time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1 wp-block-paragraph\">I don\u2019t entirely trust myself to remain untouched by the incentive structure surrounding me. The engagement metrics, the comments, the awareness of which posts do \u201cwell\u201d\u2026the risk of it shaping my writing in ways I might never notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1 wp-block-paragraph\">I want a little quiet corner of the internet instead. Somewhere my mind can wander freely.
